Boston, Nov. 20, 1893.
My dear Mrs. Emerton:
If I am well
and nothing prevents, it will give
me great pleasure to speak to the
Mother’s Club of Cambridge on the
Single Tax, on the 14th of next
February. I shall take it as a
favor if as the time draws near
you will remind me of the engagement.
Very truly yours,
[signature] Wm. Lloyd Garrison
[hand written] I shall read the same
paper which I read at the Round
Table - “The Ethics of Taxation”.
